Ahtee studied Building Design at the Technical College in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and continued his Architectural studies at the University of Queensland followed by a Masters in Urban Studies. He then did a Graduate Diploma in Social Ecology followed by a Masters in Social Studies.

He has worked in architecture for the last 50 years dealing with Local Governments in Brisbane, Sydney and the Sunshine Coast for the last 30 years.

He has a lasting interest in affordable housing and community housing, and the planning laws that restrict or promote such types of development. There is a lot of misinformation and misunderstanding about what is possible or not possible related to planning laws and different types of housing.

Ahtee has lately been consulting with land owners who are having problems with Local Councils and receiving conflicting advice from friends, builders, and tradespeople.

Group Review:  We will allocate time to discuss the over all needs and review the draft site map (as per below).

All feedback welcome. 

We will be discussing the support that is needed to keep this combined community website active and of value to our wider community.

We Are Looking For: 

Content Loaders: Those who are happy to cut and paste relevant blog posts for a particular category.

Jennifer will run training and provide documentation on how to do this, so it may be an opportunity to learn a new skill if you don’t know how. 

The website is on a wordpress platform.
 

Ideally each Category and Group would have a different content loader who is interested in that topic. You would be able to do as much or as little as you wanted to.

Feature Writers: Those who would be interested in contributing a feature article/opinion piece every now and then around a certain category.

UI & Proof Readers: 2 or 3 people to cast their eyes over the site prior to launch, checking for any dead links, anomalies in the user interface and spelling/grammar gremlins.

Soft launch date will be in June.

Target Market: Those who are looking to develop resilience from the over reach of elite (tyrannical) power players .

Geographical: Main focus around The Hinterland Range and approx. 50-60km surrounds.

Purpose: To provide a central place for local information and inspiration, plus a window into the power players agenda/s.
