5. Supporting and Connecting with our Community in Practical Ways
At our last meeting we listed a range of elements which help individuals become more resilient and prepared on their own properties.

A summary of the discussion was:
Water; capturing / storing / cleaning.
tanks, bores, pumps, windmill, filter & purification
Food; fruit trees, garden bed structures, sourcing local clean food,
food storage: canning/preserving, seed saving, heritage seeds for fruit trees, non powdered processing
First Aid; supplies *, alternative solutions*, training (CPR, bandaging, wound care, suturing, burns) medicinal herb garden recommendations*, communication
Power; battery & amplifiers, solar, rocket stoves, generators, wood, sourcing alternatives
Communication; currently the group
use Uniden UH850S 5 Watt UHF Waterproof CB Handheld Radio.
