Regarding 2025
As we come into our 5th year The Maleny
Network is looking at setting up a PMA
We are also looking at putting a succession plan in place given it is a community endeavour.
There are multiple tasks, each one in itself is not too cumbersome
If people can consider taking on one of these tasks that would be a benefit to the group.
Liase with Jacqui from the Hall :
ensure bookings are in place and make payments for the hall hire each 2 weeks. Currently this is all handled by cash from the bucket.
Bring along the money sheet and ensure it is written up, counted by 2 others and you take the money home. Write up income / expenses into Gnucash and file paperwork
Handle database enquiries. Add new subscriptions, respond to queries, removed those not opening newsletters.
Be responsible to open up, set up chairs, urn, aircon at
meetings
Be responsible to pack down, take out garbage, turn off lights, ensure floor clean, lock up
Bring coffee, tea, sugar, milk
Type up and send newsletters and notices
Be responsible for ensuring we have a facilitator at our round table nights
